This policy explains how AI Subtitle Studio handles information when you use the web or Android app. Contact us at [email protected].

Information we collect

Account information from Google OAuth and Firebase Authentication, such as name, email address, profile image, and user ID.
Subscription and billing entitlement records, such as product ID, subscription tier, order or subscription identifiers, purchase token, renewal state, and credit counters.
Device or app identifiers used for signed-out free-usage limits and analytics, including Android ID or a locally generated browser identifier.
App activity and analytics events, including feature use, imports, exports, project creation, and session replay data used to improve the app and diagnose issues.
Crash logs, diagnostic data, error messages, device/browser information, app version, screen size, connection type, logs, and bug report descriptions.
User-provided content such as subtitles, prompts, transcript text, search queries, project metadata, and media file names.
Video, image, and audio content when you choose features that require cloud AI processing, stock-media search, external media import, support diagnostics, or export handling.

Local project storage

Projects, imported media, generated subtitles, custom style presets, and templates are primarily stored locally in your browser or app storage. Local-only processing is not sent to our servers unless you use a feature that requires cloud processing, sign in for account/subscription sync, submit diagnostics, or use third-party media and AI services.

How we use information

To provide app features including authentication, project editing, transcription, AI styling, translation, video editing, exports, and subscription access.
To manage accounts, subscriptions, credits, billing status, and fraud-prevention or abuse-prevention controls.
To understand feature usage, diagnose bugs, improve performance, and respond to support requests.
To communicate about account, support, billing, security, or service issues when needed.

Service providers

AI Subtitle Studio uses service providers including Firebase/Google Cloud, Google OAuth, Google Play Billing, Stripe for web billing, Sentry for crash reporting, PostHog for analytics and session replay, Google Gemini for AI processing, and stock-media providers such as Pexels, Pixabay, Klipy, Wikimedia, and Internet Archive when those features are used.

Security

Data sent from the app is transmitted over HTTPS or provider SDK secure transport. No app can guarantee perfect security, but we use standard security controls and limit access to data based on operational need.

Account and data deletion

You can request deletion of your AI Subtitle Studio account and associated data at aisubtitlestudio.co.uk/account-deletion/. Some records may be retained where necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting, dispute, or payment-compliance reasons.

Children

AI Subtitle Studio is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app changes. The updated version will be posted on this page.
